About Us

The Company

Established in 2016, Archery LA, LLC, was initially just a dream of Head Coach Eric Tollefson, but is now a reality. Coach Eric has gathered a talented group of Coaches and Instructors who have a strong drive to spread knowledge of our sport, teach new archers the best and safest way to shoot and provide a fun experience for archers of all levels. Archery LA will be responsible for individual athlete development through local private or Skype lessons, will provide a membership experience for young archers through a JOAD club and will help with equipment selection and purchase. With a focus on education and a desire to provide the best possible experience for our guests and members, Archery LA will become the place to learn to shoot archery in the Los Angeles area.

Instruction

Archery LA, LLC, is a mobile coaching service providing group instruction and archery coaching in the Los Angeles area. Private coaching, group lessons, after school or summer programs can be arranged. The Archery LA Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) Club is open to young archers whose goal is to develop their skills to compete on a national and international level.

Archery LA also provides Instructor and Coach training using the courses developed by USA Archery, and Coach Eric Tollefson is available to travel to your area to conduct these classes.

Currently we are offering private lessons with our coaching staff at various locations throughout the Los Angeles area.  Member rates range from $55/hour for our Level 3 Coaches to $75/hour for Coach Eric, a Level 4 NTS and National Regional and Junior Dream Team Coach. Half-hour and group lessons are also available. Contact us for pricing.

For more information, or to schedule a lesson, fill out the form on our Home page and we will have one of our Coaches contact you.

Archery LA JOAD

Archery LA now has a JOAD Club for youth archers who desire to develop their archery skills to the levels necessary to compete at state, national and international levels.

The Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) program, developed by USA Archery, is intended as the first step in a series that continues with the Regional and Junior Dream Team programs. These archers wish to hone their skills, both physical and mental, with the end goal of competing on a bigger stage.

Membership is based on an interview with the Head Coach. The group will meet twice monthly on Saturday mornings at El Dorado Park in Long Beach. Contact us to arrange for an interview. See membership costs here.
